Accountability list 2026

This year I’m going to make sure I publish a list of projects I’d like to start, are already started and most importantly would like to finish up.

Last year’s conference talk was a big thing that I really enjoyed doing so on my list is going to be submitting another talk to a conference!

I’m also committing to becoming moren involved with embedded firmware and electronics. I’d really like to produce an alternative firmware for the Seeed Studio Indicator Cap screen since the current firmware is broken. It contains an ESP32-S3 and an RP2040 as well as a touch screen and LoRa radio.

In 2020 I started designing a split low profile keyboard. It needs to be finished this year with the RMK firmware.

Last year I re-kindled my 3D printing hobby with a bunch of mods to my Ender 3 and getting a Sovol Zero. I’ve now also started building a SimpleCore Redux and I’d like to build out firmware for this in rust of course.

My wife also keeps sending me 3D printing projects to do for her so I will need to keep up with that backlog.

I also really want to start self-hosting things this year. I’ve got a static IPv6 address so should be able to get some services running on various devices.
